November 2004

Our journey begins soon with our new vessel S/V Pacifico, a CSY WO 44.  Gary and I returned from Panama on the 18th of October. We sold the car, put stuff in storage and gave things to our kids. A myriad of details are being attended to. Needless to say we are very excited about our new boat. We stayed aboard her at the Panama Canal Yacht Club and fell in love with her. She's an extremely well-built boat. We made lots of new friends from other parts of the world while there. We'll be heading down there in just a few weeks to move aboard. We'll probably stay in the Caribbean for a while until we decide we want to venture to Europe, South America or the South Pacific. We don't have definite plans which is what's so great about cruising. We don't have to be anywhere at any specific time.  The seasons and weather will be  one of the only limitations as to when and where we can go. We'll update everyone from
time to time on our journey. We'll also visit the U.S. periodically to see family and friends. Adios Amigos!  Susan and Gary
